We stayed home for the holidays and enjoyed the many memories that were made this Christmas season and to ring in the new year! We were blessed to celebrate Shelby’s first Christmas with our family @ home! We were also lucky to have Aunt Natasha and cousins Kyla and Jaycee in town for days to keep Jett busy and of course to meet lil Shelby! It was fun to hang out with Uncle Chris and his fam for a day while they were in town as well! Jett loves to entertain peop and he was a great age to really get stoked about Santa and gift giving this year! We loved attending the super cute kids village Christmas open house! Jett was a crowd pleaser as he belted out carols for all and gladly sat on Santa’s lap! He asked him for a “wooden train” and since he was such a good little boy he received one and scored big with way too many Disney cars toys too! I think he is a little obsessed and knows each and every 525 some odd cars character names…sooo funny! Move over Thomas the train and friends…Lightning McQueen and crew are here!!! We had a blast going to Grandma T’s for our traditional brunch and then up to Great Grandma and Grandpa Taylor’s for a visit! We spent the afternoon opening gifts and hanging out and then up to the Ross’ for the evening! Momma T’s birthday was the very next day and I threw her a surprise party at my place! It was great to get everyone together again for pizza and a to die for hot chocolate bar and glazed doughnuts! Sooo yummy! Celebrating her big day was a blast! Then Sweet Shelby had her check up the next day on Dec 27 just 3 months shy of her turning 4 months! She did excellent for her shots and is growing...

Almost a month ago we blessed our precious baby Shelby at our home! It was so nice to have our family and friends (and THANKS Amy!) attend her special event. She was such a good little girl and we are so thankful to have her be an adorable addition to our family! Shelby wore the same lacy dress I wore for my baby blessing,

cute crocheted booties from her aunt Natasha,

and a pretty pearl bracelet we purchased especially for her!

She looked like a “little angel” which Jett loves to refer her as! Lastly, how could I not spoil her with a tableful of delicious desserts…

Both Shelby and the treats were super sweet to make the happening complete!

Miss Shelby is already 2 months…Crazy with a capital C! She has been such a delightful addition to our lil family for sure! She has continued to zzz through the night and her cooing has begun! Jett has been a superb big brother and loves to bring her blanky to her, chuck her dirty diapers in the trash, and play all of her musical toys over and over again for her to enjoy! She caught a virus awhile back that was horrible but after 3 doc visits and 2 hospital labs she got well! We are so thankful she is such a happy and healthy baby and her 2 month doc appt went great as seen below!

Halloween has come and gone too! It was fun to decorate our home and get the Halloween spirit going at Kids Village and Grandma T’s house as well! We had a yummy soup dinner and decorated scary cupcakes with the fam there. At school Jett got to do several spooky art projects like the bat he made out of his hand and thumbprints below!

He had a costume parade one day too! He loved marching around as Thomas the Tank Engine however when it came to singing in front of all the parents up on stage he freaked out! Pretty random cause at home he’s not a shy guy at all and loves to belt out tunes…oh well!!! On October 31^st we got to attend Noah and Logan’s huge Halloween parade…it was perfect weather for us all to be outside and see a ton of creative costumes stroll around the school! Jett looks up to Noah & Logan so much and we’re glad we got to attend it! That evening we went trick-or-treating! This year Jett caught on to what it’s all about…CANDY!!! Our whole fam has had WAAAAY too much sugar lately I must add and he enjoyed every minute of it as you can see with his grin...

I can’t believe both kids are growing up like weeds, I am so blessed for them both! This fall Jett has done amazing at school! He loves his teacher Miss Jessie. He has passed all his check-offs and is doing grand in each subject! He is a little talker and has met lots of new buddies. Every Tues/Thurs he enjoys cooking, science, art and music! He knows all the letters, numbers and shapes! He has a passion for reading, he will get out a stool, sit, and with several books babble on and on like he is reading to a class…priceless! His spunky character makes me laugh daily and to think Jett is already posing for school pics…unbelievable!!!

It's bout time I have you meet our new lil addition...

SHELBY NORA ROSS

Born: August 30

8 lbs 15 oz

21 1/2 inches

I seriously can't believe that this Tuesday she will be 1 month old...time flies by way too fast! Looking back on her birth day I was a wee timid to have a repeat c-section but can't believe how simple and fast the surgery/recovery have both been! I love the doctors/nurses/pediatrician we have and are sooo blessed to have her here with us happy as ever and healthy!

Shelby is thee sweetest baby ever! She hardly ever cries (even had to ask my mom and nurses if that was normal!) and has slept through the night since the day she was born! She has a bunch of dark hair and is tall with skinny long fingers and toes! She is feeding great and growing like a weed! Now comparisons to big brother Jett was 8 1/2 lbs...Shelby was 1/2 pound bigger...almost 9 lbs and she was a inch and 1/4 longer too! I gained a lot more with this babe :) Jett was a mover and groover in my belly (still is) and hence why he was probably breeched...Shelby on the other hand rarely moved, I couldn't feel her kicking till 22 weeks and then felt her move maybe only once or twice a day! Jett was constant kicking, would punch often and had hiccups all the time! Jett didn't have as much hair as her but yes, if you can believe it his was way dark and straight as well but by 1 turned bright blonde, thick, and very curly!! Jett's feet are his spitting images of his dad's...very, very wide and chunky short toes lol! Shelby's are identical to mine...super long and skinny...her toes (like mine) could pass for fingers haha!

We welcome her to into our family of four and are sooo excited to continue to watch her grow! And speaking of growth,

last but not least...Big Brother Jetters turns 2 1/2 year old today! YeAh!!!

Jett was a trooper and finished his first week of school! Tues he was thrilled to cook and Thurs he was fascinated with art and reading Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see? He looked so grown up marching into the school with his bright red schoolbag! I am so proud of him and his spunky character! I can just imagine how he entertains all the other kiddies in his class and his amazing teacher Miss Jessie! We LOVE Jett and are blessed to have him in our lives.

We have been so glad to have Aaron home and for fall to arrive! It has been a blast to have all of us together and be able to get some fun family activities in before summer comes to a close!

Just around the corner and days away till our lil baby girl arrives! I can't wait to hold her in my arms and pray for a safe and sound delivery and a healthy babe! I'm extremely happy to welcome her into our family and am anticipating her super soon arrival!

Just think next time I'll post I'll be a momma of two, WaHoO!!!

SUMMER FUN

Some of Jett's favorite afternoons have been venturing indoors to LegoLand, library, and pet stores! I think I could have left him @ any of those places and he would have never gotten bored! He loves building with blocks, fascinated by animals, and enjoys being read to!

However with such nice weather (minus the crazy rainstorms!) he has loved nothing more than being outside basking up the summer sun! His ever curious mind has gotten him into many adventures outside daily!

His favs have been...

-playing with and in water

-hanging out with cousins

-diggin in dirt and his turtle sandbox

-anything with wheels

-having a tent campout

-getting creamed with cousins

-feeding ducks and turtles @ the pond

-and of course SNOWCONES!!!

(He downs one in a minute and his fav flav is RAINBOW!)

Jett is such a joy and cracks me up daily!!! He is growing up like a weed and he starts his lil school in a month...time is flying by waaaay too quickly!

Lately all around I’ve been discovering Jett’s little creations of his “professional lining up things in a row!” I have NO idea where he got this from?! It must be his LOVE for trains plus a lil OCD!

He is such a hoot and we’re blessed with his spunky character and curious mind!

He can’t wait to be a BIG BROTHER!!! Last trimester has arrived, I’m 28 ½ weeks in counting and just passed the GTT which I failed both with Jett! I am one HAPPY momma! NO more long john testing and NO gestational diabetes this time round! The babe is now 3 lbs. and the size of a cabbage, wahoo!

We hope y’all are loving the sun and enjoying your summer as much as we are…

MAY DAYS

June is just around the corner…where did May go? Mother’s Day was great! I am so grateful for my Momma T and all she has done and does for me daily! And I am blessed to be a mom of (almost) 2! Aaron surprised me with a beautiful diamond necklace (just a lil belated!) and nothing was better than spending the day with my two boys!

Jett’s activities lately have been…

PAINTING!-He has loved using his creativity and watercoloring away! He uses one paintbrush in each hand too. He is our lil Van Gogh in the making and his masterpieces are great to plaster on our fridge!

CARS!-Everywhere we go he has to bring at least 2 cars with him to play with…his favs are his yellow hummer and police hummer truck! He enjoys going outside and playing there all day and he finds dirt to drive them in too. He gets thrilled over discovering insects and loves tato bugs!

MADAGASCAR!-Jett is infatuated with watching this movie over and over! He loves the animals and knows all their names! Right now he loves Marty and Melman! He's starting to memorize the movie lines too, sooo funny!

THE ZOO!-Jett's all time favorite spot was in the bird atrium with all the birds flying around like crazy! He loved feeding them with the food sticks and would get sooo excited when they came near to him and Dad! His other likes were the gorillas, white tiger, and the alligators! He loved pulling his red wagon around the whole entire zoo grounds too!

Speaking of animals my appetite has grown like an elephants! I swear I’m NEVER EVER full and everything is tasting so yum! Especially Mexican and steak…along with cookies and ice cream that I down daily! Aaron’s just thankful I don’t have him taking me to Sizzler for this pregnancy! I promise you we would go @ least 3 times a week when I was prego with Jett! Sizzler makes me sick now!!! Aaron also took a rep there in the spring and he found a freakin feather in his fried chicken…SICK-O! Stay away from there lol! So I’m almost 27 weeks and baby to come is about 15 inches long and the size of a cucumber! She’s kicking away strong now and Jetters loves to see my big belly in action! I’m thinking about doing her room in pink, brown, and green and an owl/bird theme and can’t wait to get it done and for her to come out and enjoy it!

Jett is officially a BIG BOY NOW!

@ just 2 years and a month old he has accomplished the milestone in a breeze! Just 3 days and he’s already telling me “Momma, I gotta go!!!” He had NO accidents his 3rd and now 4th day! (Such a joy for me especially!) He loves his reward of M&M’s and after each tinkle takes his handful in this little container he’s decorated with stickers, lines all the M&M’s up in a row on the bed, and then eats them one by one! Cracks me up!!! We are so thankful for his sweet spirit and spunky character he brings to us daily!
We are very lucky that he gets to be a big brother in less than 4 months! We are so thrilled to have a LIL GIRL (YES, officially a girl…2 ultrasounds to prove it!) to join our family! Aaron and I were also stoked to celebrate our 3rd year wedding anniversary a week and a ½ ago! Wahoo…love you so much Lover and I’m so grateful for our
friendship and our future family of four!!!!

JETT'S 2nd BIRTHDAY!

Jett’s 2^nd birthday was a blast! On Thursday MARCH 24 his official birthday we went to dinner together and the toy store! I had thought he could pick out a fun gift with Dada since he would be opening up his presents the next day! I already bought several Thomas trains so I was hoping he wouldn’t be focused on getting one of those! Of course Aaron followed the saying “go big or go home!” and we came home with…

A red radio flyer wagon! Jett was thrilled! He helped Dada build it and we even got to go for a ride in it that night although it was freeeezing!

On Friday we celebrated his birthday with family! Here's Jett loaded up in the truck with all the balloons and party supplies...

We got the party room @ Brick Oven and chowed down on pizza, garlic bread and salad! Then Jett finally got to reveal his Thomas the Train ice cream cake which had been in our freezer and every time I opened the darn freezer door he would get sooo excited and then cry up a storm when he couldn’t “Open and get it out!” He loooved it and and even enjoyed playing with the trains on top and blowing out the big #2 candle more than eating it!

He was amazed by all the awesome gifts he got and was thankful for how much he got spoiled by his relatives! Opening presents...

We then ventured to Provo Beach where we rode the carousel, played in the laser beam funhouse, shot basketballs, threw footballs and danced! We loved spending time with our family and can’t believe he's a toddler!

His 2 year doc appt went well and he only had to get one shot, thank heavens! I hate those pricks! But he did sooo good and loved his blue sticker (band-aid!) the nurse put on him! He's growing up sooo fast and measures 61% weight and a whopping 99% for height!!! Wahoo Jett, we love you and are glad you are two!

Jett's turning 2 in less than 10 days...CRAAAZY!!!

As of now this is what he loves most...

-going for walks (or should I say runs!) The second the door is open he sprints out and he forgets to hold your hand while you're out as well!

-MEAT!!! He loves all kinds from dada's grilled up steak, cafe rio pork to chicken nuggets! He asks for meat @ each and every meal but will NOT touch any form of cheese! Even with pizza he will just eat the toppings but nothin else!

-playing games on the iPad and iPhone! He is a lil nerd in the making and especially loves doing puzzles, memory, and taking pics and videos of yes, himself!

-Thomas the train and all 999 of his friends! He has been obsessed with the theme song since he was 6 months old and would dance to it then along with all their cartoons, movies, books, and yes toys! He can name each and everyone of the engines too! Don't ask me how he tells them apart, they all look the same to me!

-PEOPLE! He is a lil goofball and loves to entertain! He is sooo excited when the doorbell rings and family and friends come over to visit and play...he hates good-byes!

-belting out the ABC song! He can name each letter and loves to sing it too along with "Twinkle Twinkle", "If you're happy and you know it", and "Wheels on the Bus!"

-Going Bye-Bye! He loves to go for rides in dada's vroooom car, anything to get out of the house and go explore!

-Nursery! His fav time there...of course SNAAAACKS! But he enjoys singing, playing with the kiddies and learning with them weekly! With mom being his nursery leader I think he loves it even more!

-Taking bubble baths! I swear he would stay in there for a hour! With all the toys he puts in the tub I guess I can see why he is entertained for quite sometime!

-Coloring! With mom being in bed so much lately getting out the coloring books and crayons has been a daily activity! He's learned all his colors and even calls brown Poo-Poo brown, so funny! He has become quite thee artist!

-reading books! The second "The End!" is said he asks for, "More Books, More Books!" His fav being of course Thomas but loves Night Night Little Pookie too!

-cars! You will not see him without one of his cars in his hand he loves playing with them, crashing them, making them go off bumps, jumps, and starting loving Disney Cars!

-Mushrooms!!! Yes, that is how he pronounces Marshmellows, one of his fav snacks...took me awhile to decipher what he meant, tried to teach him the right name but still to this day calls the white puffs Mushrooms!!

-Last but not least Mr. Cuddles...he loves to give hugs and kisses! (especially to my baby belly!) He's our lovebug and cheers us up each and everyday with his spunky personality! We are so blessed to have him in our lives and ready for another year of fun with Jetters!!!

What a way to celebrate the month of February the month of LOVE…being SICK!

Aaron and Jett caught an awful cold/cough last weekend and me on the other hand PREGO SICK for weeks and weeks and weeks! We celebrated Valentine’s Day by trying to get well, yee-haw! Aaron got me a beautiful bouquet of red roses that definitely made me happy! He has also helped me out everyday by random food runs and errands!

I’m very thankful for him and Jett to make my days exciting! Jett has for sure kept me entertained and I’m thrilled for him to have a little sibling soon! I’m blessed to have my mom and fam help out a ton too otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do…!

First trimester coming to a close and 2 more to go!

Holidays!

Update on our holidays…they seemed to go by waaay to fast! We had a wonderful time celebrating them in town this year...

Jett enjoyed each and every present he got to rip open!

Christmas Eve we spent @ Aaron’s parents in Saratoga Springs! Ate and played lots of games! Christmas morn we opened up gifts @ our home and then headed to my mom’s. We had a yummy big breakfast then opened up more gifts!

We then ventured up to my grandparents home and chatted for a bit! Logan below checking out his new book!

We spent the afternoon playing ping pong and seeing Jett play with all his new toys he got! He loooved them all! He was excited to play with Noah and Logan all day too! That afternoon we went to Aaron’s parents and ate again and hung out! It was fun watching everyone dance to the Wii and sing with Glee! Jett tried to join in and do his thang too! Hilarious! The next day was my Mom’s big birthday so that was fun to get together and party for that as well! Of course we had to hit up Chuck’s her favorite place on earth! Then played games some more! We had the chance to spend a lot of time with Aaron’s family who came in town over the week! Jett loved to entertain his cousins and especially Natasha, Kyla, and Jaycee for hours and hours on end!

We had many late nights filled with fun! When New Years Eve came around we were ready to stay up late and party more! We enjoyed all the family that came over to help bring in the new year wahoo! Jett misses all the neat company we had over and we hope everyone’s 2011 is going grand!

Home from Hawaii and ready for the holidays...

Boy, was it a bummer to come back to feet of snow and leave sunshine behind!

We had a fabulous time staying in Maui @ the Grand Waliea!

Aaron had never been there before so we did plenty of fun things to make the trip well-worth it! First off our rental car was a JEEP and Jett loved it…everytime it pulled up Jett would yell, “JEEP, JEEP, JEEP!” and when we stopped to get out he would say…”MORE JEEP MORE JEEP!”

The hotel has a lot of pools and plenty of waterslides that made Jett never want to get out of the water! The ocean and beach was steps away too so it was the perfect location for fun! It was great to hang out and just chill and relax @ the cabanas!

We loved exploring @ the Maui Aquarium and Jett enjoyed seeing Scuba Diver Santa feed the sharks!

Jett danced up a storm when he saw Sugar Cane Train pull up to the station and the ride around the island was his favorite activity of all!

We loved the boat excursion to venture out into the clear ocean to go whale-watching and since it was thee season for them there we saw plenty of them…so neat!

Aaron’s love for shopping led us to the malls and lil island shops there as well!

And my passion for eating out @ the finest restaurants and indulging on the yummiest desserts ever led us to Spago, Duo, Nick’s Fish Market, and Ruth’s Chris (twice!) Soooo delicious!

We were thankful for Grandma T to come along and watch Jett each night so we could go out kid-free…we had such fun dates and our favorite evening out was Warren and Annabelle’s Magic Show…sooo entertaining!

Jett was an amazing traveler and was super on the long plane rides! Thank heavens they were non-stop, had 3 meals, and showed kid movies! Made the time go by so swiftly!

Now it’s time to celebrate the season with friends and family…

Fall 2010 is here! Leaves are changing and the cool crisp air is coming!

(Although it has been super warm lately…that I LoooVE!)

Looking back in September we ventured off to Vega$ and had a blast!

We stayed @ the new city center

Ate @ Joe’s (Aaron’s fav!)…twice

Ate @ Grand Lux (One of my favs!)…twice

Shopped till we dropped

Hung out w/ Aaron’s bro & his sweet fam

Ate waaaay too many desserts including thee to die-for-gelato

Last but not least enjoyed RELAXIN after closing up summer selling!

The end of September Jett turned a big 18 months! He measured in the 98% for height and is a growing boy till this day still for sure! His 2 shots went well and we’re glad he’s so happy and healthy! He loves the iPhone and is talking nonstop now!

Jett is loving going to nursery and enjoys entertaining all the other lil kiddies weekly! His favorite time is of course “SNAAAACKS!” but he loves learning about Jesus, play-dough and singing a ton too!

October came and went…we loved conference and being able to spend time with our families! We were inspired by the sweet messages and love listening to the leaders of our church!

We had Amy Clark take our family pics again near the end of the month. She is such a sweetheart and super talented for sure! Her photos turned out fabulous! I can’t believe how much Jett has grown since the last time she snapped his shots! He is such a clown and makes me laugh constantly. He is a smartie pants and a great joy in our life!

Jetters curls kill me and he got his 1^st haircut on the 29^th! NO more mullet but a mop full of blonde curls still! J

Halloween was a hit and YES of course Jett was Thomas the Train! We celebrated by going down to Span Fork with all of the fam. We ate out for dinner and then headed out to Trick-Or-Treat! Jett was a trooper (cause it was cold) and loved all the “can-deeee”! We loaded up with all the sugar and to top it off we had our homemade caramel apples with every topping imaginable too!

Then November arrived! We celebrated lil Logan’s 5^th birthday @ Pirate Island! Jett loved running around with his cousins, all the games, carousel and of course the pirate ship w/ the slide “Unca Joppy” took him on a thousand times! We were glad Logan loved all the batman gifts he got and had a great time!

In just a few weeks Jett turns 20 months and Turkey Day will be here in no time! @ this time of a season of thanks we are truly blessed for all the friends we have been hanging out with a lot (all those late nights were way too fun!) and of course for all our fabulous family!

The days of summer are coming to a close…looking back here are some of the many memories that we created these past few months…

In North Carolina we had the chance to hang out with my sister and her family each week! Jett loved the Greensboro & Raleigh children's museum the most! He was thrilled to get to play with his cousin Isaac too! My sis was a big fan of Chipotle and she shouldn’t have introduced me to it…(ya know I love Mexican!!!)…and ate there waaay too often!

On June 11th Sarah gave birth to lil' Beckham! That was so neat and we’re super excited they’re parents! Jett loves saying “baby, baby!”

On June 19th Becca turned a big 24! We had a great time celebrating it with her! She is such a sweetheart and thanks to her we explored the city and ate out waaay too much! One of the hot spots we found was Goodberrys…custard! Sooo yummy!

On June 20th we honored Aaron for Fathers Day, since he does a great job being a “dada!” We surprised him w/ the new iphone and a nice shirt! We went to dinner @ Ruth Chris with Jett, Becca, and Isaac! (We wish Mr. Burnside was a father too hehe!!!) We also got a Aaron a big ol ice cream cake that looked just like a pizza…it was sweet! We are so proud of him and all the hard work he does to provide for us as a father!

The day before Aaron’s birthday (which is June 28th!) we surprised him at a local Mexican restaurant Qdobas w/ balloons, gifts, family and friends! I had a lil custom cake made with his car on top (which he misses soooo much, although I admit he sure looks hot cruising around town in his shiny white buick lacrosse out in Ohio!) and of course his fav goodberrys custard to top it off! He was very shocked, it was great! He enjoyed the shirts, gift cards, and presents he got! We then dined at a fancy fun restaurant that night called the Angus Barn in town! It was delicious and fun for us three to be there to honor him turning the big 34!

Jett and I set off for Utah the next day for bout a week and a 1/2 ! It was great to visit friends, fam, and celebrate the 4th of July @ our home! We loved all the bbqs, fireworks and fun we had! Jetts doc appt went awesome…hes growing up like a weed!

Then off to Ohio we went! We’ve had the opportunity to venture out and enjoy the turf there! We hate the consistent rain they get but liked the Easton shopping center that was near and loved that it had Archivers and Cheesecake Fac! Becca was brilliant and found a local ice cream shop called yes, JENI’S and it is divine! It has some of thee best, yes BEST, ice cream I’ve ever had…(and I’ve ate a TON in my life!) Second runner up, is Graeters also a famous ice cream shop out there…they put gigantic chunks of this delicious chocolate in it…sooo yummy!

As a family we spent the day @ one of the neatest zoos ever! The Columbus Zoo is spectactular!!!
It was gigantic and Jett loved interacting with the animals way too much! I think he fell in love with the chimp! The aquarium was my fav! Jett rode the carousel horses with us...but I have to admit he was quite scared!

Then July 30 rolled in…let’s just say I was a lucky girl and actually got to celebrate my b-day the late eve before though! Aaron has a problem…he loves to buy gifts and can’t wait to give them away earlybird! ☺ He spoiled me (as always) and brought home not one, but 2 big ol slices of cheesecake from the fac! They were tasty! It’s the new flava that came out Reese PB Cup!

He also gave me a gorgeous dress from anthro!

As if that wasn’t enough for my lunch we went to one of my favs…Cheesecake Fac! (How could we NOT?...July 30 NOT only my b-day but also National Cheesecake Day, just to let ya know!!!) It was scrumptious and the day was delightful! Becca was a doll and showered me with lots of super cute “cupcake themed” gifts! Everything was wrapped up just right and her handmade card was adorable! (She’s a pro @ making them for sure!) The weather was just right and we spent the afternoon shopping @ Easton outdoor shops! Becca kept the party going and showed up @ my apt w/ a enormous cupcake (above!) sooo thoughtful! Then we went to Smokey Bones for dinner, which was tasty! I couldn’t have wished for a better day than that! I was thankful to spend it with my friends and family that I love!

Other than that every other day has been an adventure as well…Jett is a character and a half! His personality is priceless and full of spunk! He loves baths and stroller rides! Never a dull moment when he’s around! He still has an extreme passion for choo-choos (trains), vroooms (cars) and up-up-up (planes)! He is a die-heart fan of the iphone and ipad (thanks to dada!) and will not only unlock it from the screen saver but scroll it to the apps he loves and play away! We are intrigued by his willingness to learn and his love of reading and doing puzzles!

Now there’s just a bundle of selling days left! We admire how Aaron has racked up his giant total and can’t wait till we can all play together each and everyday! We are glad he’s almost through…wahoo!

So I’m been a wee bit behind in updates…we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary April 25! Wahoo, time flies! Then the next week Jett started WALKING (@ age 13 months and 1 week old exactly!) and watch out…he struts around so fast he doesn’t even watch where he is going! And boy does he love to have people watch him too. It’s super funny! That very week he also stopped nursing, so as of today it’s been one month since then! We are so proud of our lil man…such a BIG BOY…No pacifier, No bottles, No nursing…Yahoo! His vocabulary has increased a lot as well he can say lots of animal sounds-cow, dog, lamb, horse, cat, etc… He loves to find his hair, head, toes, bellybutton, eyes, nose, ears, etc… He loves books a ton and to be read too, and last but not least he has a thing for food…he eats everything and anything you give him! He gets sooo ecstatic he starts to shake when food is coming his way! He gets so excited to see cars (just like his dada!), however his all time fav is still Thomas the Train and we were so thrilled to go home just in time to have him ride on the life-size choo-choo!

As of me…my braces are off! Only 9 months, Yay!!! I have been able to hang out with my sis and fam a ton which has been great and shopping, cooking and oh yes Jett take up all my time! Aaron has been doing amazing and surprises me everyday with his ability to sell, sell, sell! We are blessed to be parents and love Jett! He cracks us up with all of his silly acts and melts our hearts with his bear hugs and kisses!

Boy, did we have a blast! The week was full of sun, sand, water and yes, feasting of food on our cruise! We were blessed to have Jett come with us and enjoy the vacation and beach as much as we did! I could never leave lil Jetters at home without us...

We flew into Florida and stayed there for a night…Aaron and I enjoyed a night out on the town together, I love that state and am jealous that Aaron grew up there…I would move there in a heartbeat! The weather was just right and made me not miss the snow and cold one bit! Then the next day we sent sail on our ship...

We were in the East Caribbean for 6 days, and had quite an adventure! We stopped at Grand Turk where the beach was breath-taking. We loved every minute of it we had there...

The next stop got canceled due to bad weather and so we continued to set sail until we arrived at Nassau. There we enjoyed Atlantis…(where you must go, if you haven’t!) It was spectacular and so neat…Jett enjoyed the aquarium thoroughly and the waterslides were fun!

The week went by way to fast, I guess I just love traveling too much!
However, it is nice to be back home!

February is now halfway through, wahoo! Jett has been such a joy and continues to impress us daily! He crawls around quicker than ever and has a talent of opening every drawer and cupboard possible! He puts smiles on our faces as he babbles away and says his favorites…ball, bubble, mama, dada, and more! He loves to make his animal sounds and prefers to bark, meow, and moo! He will clap non-stop and loves to “raise the roof” by putting his arms up...however, his grandest trick is dancing to the Thomas the Train theme song…kid you not this is the one song he loves to groove too…so funny!

Our Valentine’s Day was sweet…Aaron spoiled me way to much (like usual!) i LOVE HIM! We were on the ball this year and made reservations to a few restaurants instead of waiting till the week of to discover they were booked ☹ Sooo…when the time came we narrowed it down to two of our favs and ended up going to both places different days…

We had the yummiest meals and oh, yes desserts! They were too die for! Aaron also gave me a plethora of presents, roses and goodies...
and I got a tee, AppleTv , hairstuff, and a pic of us made in canvas for him!
We got Jett a fluffy dog, books, and a bubble blower (that didn't even work!) oh, well! He loved to celebrate the holiday with us but sure did wish that he could eat all the delicious chocolates and sweets Aaron gave me but for pete’s sakes he must wait! He is a nonstop growing piggie and still loves each and every single food he’s tried! We love him to pieces and we can’t wait to introduce him to the ocean for a first this next week! Christmas has come and gone and 2010 has arrived!

Jett was intrigued by sitting by Santa for the first time!

Our holidays were filled with excitement and friends and family fun!

Jett loved celebrating his first Christmas! He was in awe of the decorated tree and ripping open all of his presents like crazy!
We were thankful to be able to party at our home the eve before (which was when Jett turned 9 months old!) and then both families homes on the actual day! We were spoiled with way too much delicious food/goodies and great gifts! Thank you all!
Jett has been growing continuously and is now the 98% for length! The lil bugger is ever sooo curious and on New Years Eve Night got to show off to his family that he is now crawling!!! He loves being the center of attention and doing his new tricks! We haven’t found one food he doesn’t indulge in! Boy, do we love him so and we three can’t wait for another year of memories to share together as a family!

I seriously can't believe November is almost through...where has the time gone? At this season of thanks I know thee most important thing that I am thankful for is my family! I am truly blessed to have thee most generous husband ever and the fact that we can be parents to our baby boy is the most perfect blessing we could ask for! Jett has been nothing but a big bundle of joy for us and I love being his mommy!

We moved into our new place on Halloween…the grand holiday that Jett dressed up as a sassy lion! He looked so handsome and we had a blast celebrating with family, parties n such!

I can’t believe how quickly he’s growin up! Our lil’ man is getting bigger n bigger by the minute! There is not one single food that he won’t engulf in an instant! (Mmm...wonder where he gets that from?) He is a Piggy for sure! He makes us so proud and we are in awe at all the milestones he’s accomplishing each and everyday! He babbles nonstop..."MaMa" and "DaDa" come out of his mouth regularly which puts smiles on our faces!
He enjoys company and is so eager to entertain!

So Fall has finally arrived and we've all returned from Baltimore! We're loving being together as a family here in Utah again! The weather has been just great...and I'm wishing it would stay this way all year...(cause I HATE the snow!) We've enjoyed being outside and doing a lot of super fun activities and get-togethers with the fam again! On the top-of-the-list was Jett's special baby blessing! We had the opportunity to do it in our home and it was a very nice evening! I am so thankful Aaron got to bless Jett and it was such a sweet experience to have everyone come to thee event! We had a yummy dinner and of course lots of dessert afterwards to wrap it up which was perfect! We are so blessed to have Jett in our life and he brings a plethora of joy to us each and everyday! He celebrated his spectactular 6-month-old day last Thursday which was a blast!

I got him a new toy ball that wobbles around to help him learn how to crawl...but who knows when that day will come! He seems to just love to plop down in his bumbo and stay since he is quite chunky! At his doc appt. we found out he had grown another inch and a half so has passed 28" inches in length and weighs almost 19 lbs! Such a BIG boy and w/in the last week he now sits up all by myself with no help from us...wahoo! I can't believe how fast time flies by!
He also had his first feeding which was sooo exciting!

We sure do LOVE Jetters and all the milestones he's accomplished lately and can't wait to see what he does next...

SURE HAS GOTTEN BIG FAST!

...and speaking of quick the month of July has
seemed to have gone by so swiftly too!
We flew home for Jetters next doc appt. and immunizations! He is doing grrreat and is weighing in hefty as ever (oink, oink) and is in the 99%tile for length measurements! Major growth spurt for him…he grew over 3 inches since his last appt. and yes wears size 12M already! Other than that he is kicking non-stop, rolling over, cooing cutely and laughing loudly! He is pure entertainment for sure! He now enjoys playing peek-a-boo and grips on to his toys ever sooo tightly! We all know where his toys go…yes, straight into his mouth! Being a first time mom I thought the way he was chomping on his toys was the norm, but soon after realized that he was teething! I couldn’t believe how early this happened for him,
at 4 months he had his first 2 teeth popping out already!
We have been having a fun summer here in Utah partying with the fam and relaxing in the sun. We have loved having family BBQs, attending my lil niece Sydney’s blessing, celebrating my b-day, breaking out the ol’ tennis rackets, and oh yes playing badminton too!, hitting the hot spot restaurants I love and don’t forget all the snow-cone shacks and ice cream shops too!
We sure have spent this summer doing super fun activities, however we know this fall will be tremendously exciting as well! We can’t wait till Aaron can join in and with Me being a Planning Queen I have already made a grand master list of things-to-do when he returns! We are counting down the days and till then think it is sooo awesome to see
Aaron doing an over-the-top-amazing job with his work!
He is our #1 too and we love him so!

Sunday, June 28th was the big day Aaron turned 33…yippee! Jett n I got up early to surprise him in bed with homemade banana bread, bacon, fruit and juice! Tip: Do NOT put candles into bread when it comes out of the oven HOT! It was hilarious the candles nearly melted down into the whole loaf instantly before I could take em out and rush the platter to him…Oops! A lil’ wax won’t kill you right? JK Then we hung out all day, it was definitely nice to have all 3 of us together to celebrate him turning 33! We enjoyed the rest and relaxation thoroughly!

For lunch I made him Hawaiian Haystacks and had an island theme for the setting…I put his gifts in buckets and had yellow filler to represent sand! He got candy, a new tee, shorts, and sandals to go along with it all! Last but not least, we plan to take a trip to The Big Island one of these days! ☺
That evening we had the whole office come over, Jett was excited for the party to start (as you can see below) and he couldn't wait for the fun to begin!
We had this super yummy cake I had made from a nearby bakery and these delicious fruit sorbets…sooo good! They are real lil’ fruits cut in half with the sorbet in the middle! You should all try them for sure!It was neat to have everyone come over n celebrate n such! Aaron successfully blew out each n every candle! I hope all his b-day wishes come true and...
I hope Aaron appreciated his special day cause we sure had a blast surprising him Sunday!

Let’s just say the excitement of celebrating Aaron’s big day began the eve before! In case you didn’t know Aaron is Mr. Gotta Have It Technology King so I knew he wanted the New 3Gs iPhone the second it came out…therefore Sarah and I had been finding out info about how to get a hold of one in stock! After a few trips to the mall, at&t and phone calls we got it! It was definitely well worth all the time we spent in line just to see his face when we surprised him with it at dinnertime! He loved it and hasn’t put it down since!
The morning of his big day I made him breakfast n bed (blueberry pancakes, bacon & eggs, fruit n juice!) and carried it in to him on a platter! Jetters was lying down beside him n bed n before I knew it slyly Jett had grabbed the fork from it and was holding it in his hand upright just like a pitchfork! So funny, yet ever so dangerous cause he is grabbing everything n sight now so I’ve got to be even more cautious! Who knows what he’ll grab on to next? While Aaron chowed down on his morning meal we gave him a giftbag full of his favorite treats and a super cute card from Jett n I! ☺ Then at the bottom of the bag was the ever so anticipating gift I’ve been waiting to give to him since May 22nd…these precious pics of Jett!

Adorable Amy Clark captured Jett looking his finest for his daddy! Aaron adored each and every one as much as I did! Jett is growing so swiftly...to think that a month has already gone by since those photos have been taken is unbelievable! Plus this Wednesday Jett turns 3 months!!! Wowsers!

Off to church we went and when we came home I gave Aaron a program and mag for his new iPhone and a Road n Track mag too! It was time to feast, I had made Aaron a meal he has been craving for days…HOT DOGS! Crazy kid, huh?! So I tried to make a gourmet meal out of his pick by making crockpot chili and cheddar cheese to spice it up, and one of his favs for the side...deviled eggs plus some lemon berry mousse pie for dessert…YUM!
The greatest thing overall was it was super nice and sunny weather and that we were so grateful to be able to spend lots of time with daddy on his one day off out of the week! Yahoo!
We definitely had a blast and hope you did too!

TIME DOES FLY BY...

…and Jett and I have been flying as well! It was nice to have the opportunity to fly home to Utah awhile back and go to lil Jett’s 2 month doc appt! Let’s just say he’s NOT so lil anymore though! He weighed in at almost a whopping 15 pounds! Sooo much for all the baby clothes size 0-3, and 3-6 months…those are long gone and way too teeny! I can’t believe it...let’s just say he’s not our lil man anymore he’s officially our CHUNKY MONKEY! Everything went well at the doc visit except for the cries from the dreaded immunizations but he was a strong babe and has been grrreat ever since! He is such a joy and is so dang fun to have around! He makes the cutest craziest faces and wants to hold and put anything and everything into his mouth! He babbles and coos nonstop and is now discovering all of his toys and books to please him! I love him so!

It was a good time to see and visit fam when we were back for a bit as well! As you can tell from the pic above Jett had to study all of the faces he missed back at home ever so well to remember them! While home we enjoyed eating at our fav restaurants (that aren't back east!), having super delicious BBQs, having G-ma T take us on shopping sprees and have slumber parties, seeing the cutest movie on the planet UP (go see it now, highly reccommended and four thumbs up from us!) , meeting our brand new 2 week ol stinkin cute cousin Sydney Jane for the first time, playing with our two terrific nephews Noah and Logan that think Jett is a "cutie pie!" and say it constantly to him, and we even got the chance to attend my grandparents 60…YES 60th wedding anniversary party! Can you believe it? And to top it off my g-ma was sportin her wedding dress…mmm if I could fit in mine at my 10th that would be a miracle haha! Jett sure was spoiled with spending time with all of his relatives (especially his Grandma T) that love him to pieces! The only thing we disliked was that the weather was poopy practically the whole time we were there it was stormy!
The 2 ½ weeks flew by in a jiffy and before ya knew it we were back n Baltimore...
and it’s been a party ever since we’ve returned, we are so thankful to have the 3 of us together again! Jett loves his daddy n makes the most adorable faces and noises to him as if he were in a deep conversation! I love Aaron sooo much too and I’m glad we can be back to support him! He’s doing an amazing job with his work and is definitely having a successful summer so far!

BALTIMORE WITH THE BABY!

Yes, I do admit it was rather adventurous for lil Jett and I to pack our bags and head out back east to Baltimore but it definitely has been worth it! Boy, did we miss Aaron and we have had nothing but a lot of fun out here since we landed! The place we live at is new and nice and it's fun living near to our buddies! It's super close to a big mall which is awesome. But nothing beats being close to Aaron! :-) He is doing such a fantastic job with his office (as always!) and I'm so thankful he is thee hardest worker ever...not only that but the most thoughtful person as well! For mother's day (although he has to be reminded bout dates and holidays!) he spoiled me with taking me to my all time fav place to eat at...Cheesecake Factory! I love love love that place and of course ordered it up as always and got my fav dessert too...Adams PB fudge ripple cheesecake! YES, it's crazy but I kid you not I've had every single one of their 50 gazillion flavors but this is one is on the top of my list!
Then he bought me a enormous bottle of new perfume which I'm in love with as well...but most of all I'm in love with being a new momma! No gift is as grand as that! I swear Aaron wanted to purchase me everythang in the mall that day BUT I refused I want nothing but to be with my fam is all!
I am so blessed to have those 2 boys with me in my life! Words can not explain how much joy Jett brings to me daily with all the new lil coos, babbles, giggles, and smiles he makes! He's been such a great lil lad and keeps busy bee out here! You should see the faces he makes when Aaron comes home from a long hard day at work! So adorable! In a wrap I'm doing great and love being able to spend time with my fam out here, I'm definitely glad I made the sacrifice to come out because the memories made here have been magnificent!

Jett has arrived!!! The adventure all started way back on Monday, March 23 while I was out none other than shopping with my momma! I was due in just four days from then but felt totally fine…until we were out n about and I started feeling a backache come and go! Well, as we continued to shop till we drop it began to get a wee bit stronger! That night I had plans to go to dinner with Aaron and another couple but those plans suddenly seemed not do-able once I got home! I called Aaron and told him it would be a no go for me. Aaron arranged that the couple would come over to our place and they would order pizza and watch a movie instead. That was fine with me cause I was planted upstairs…it was weird I would feel totally fine then within an instant my back would feel like it was being stabbed with a knife and I would have to lay down for a bit then it would vanish! No other pain was felt but in my back (so it was not what I expected at all, I thought it would feel like your belly bursts!) Aaron would run upstairs and check in on me constantly and then when the couple left we decided we better go to the hospital and check things out! Although I fussed somewhat cause I didn’t want to be one of those prego ladies that gets sent home 20 times and is only dilated to a 1 BUT thank heavens we went!

We arrived and the nurse began to do her thang! I got hooked up to monitors and lil did I know I was in labor and definitely having contractions however I was only dilated to a 2…but when she found out that she also discovered his head wasn’t down south! She immediately did an ultrasound to discover that he was completely breeched and his bum was there instead! NOT TOO GOOD! After that I was then already dilated to a 3 and she noticed meconium on her glove…UH-OH! She knew an emergency c-section would have to take place instantly and began calling the doctors…Aaron and I could not believe it! We looked at each other and in glee both said, “Our baby is going to be here tonight!!!” I was so excited that the thought of having a major surgery in minutes didn’t even scare me a bit! To top it off just 6 minutes before heading down to the operating room my water broke and sure enough a ton of meconium was in it! :-( The c-section began, Aaron was up by my head and the drape was below to hide my view.

I was amazed how wide awake I was through the whole procedure and I was sooo thrilled when the doctors said, “WOW it’s a big boy and we’ve got his bum coming out first!” Then within seconds I heard his cry belt out and tears of joy started to pour out from me! It was so comforting to have Aaron by my side through it all and the most joyful feeling came to me when they brought Jett and all his 8 lbs 5 oz to me to see him!

Such a cutie…then within minutes tragedy hit! Jett had not only swallowed the meconium but inhaled a lot of it as well! Aaron followed the nurses as they took him in the other room where quickly his pink newborn skin turned white! No time at all and he was hooked up to several machines, tubes, i.v.’s, and who knows what they were contraptions!

I having no idea this was happening got wheeled back into my postpartum room to recover. Then the horrible news came when the doctor came in and told us his condition was horrible because his lungs were full of meconium and he couldn’t breathe on his own! He was now in the NICU for who knows how long…I was horrified! I kid you not (and my family can tell ya) I was was up for 3 days straight with not even one second of sleep…I laid awake in the hospital bed just praying that our lil boy would get well! I was wheelchaired back and forth to the NICU where I would sit, cry, and pray for his health. Kid you not it was the hardest thing in my life (other then my dad’s death) to see him in pain and not be able to help him, let alone even hold him! I thank Aaron tremendously for giving him a beautiful blessing with my brother Jeff. It brought instant health to the lil babe and I’m so grateful we have the gospel in our lives to have had the opportunity to do that.

My 4 days in the hospital were over and I recovered awesome! Honestly I had not even one ounce of pain and was up and at it in no time! I am so thankful for all the help from the doctors and team of nurses I had! The extreme support of friends, family, and my wonderful husband Aaron was spectacular too! Without them who knows what I would have done?! And I definitely loved the plethora of treats and giant ice creams Aaron brought me frequently! It was so dang difficult to leave the hospital babyless but the only thing to push me along was to know that Jett was getting super great care there! The next week I basically lived at the hospital all hours of the day and night…I just didn’t want to leave his side! Jett was an ultimate fighter, each day he seemed to improve more and more! It was a miracle! After 8 days in the NICU he was then transferred to the special care unit. Finally 3 days later Aaron and I got to spend the night at the hospital with Jett. He successfully passed his tests through the eve and morn so we were able to get the most fabulous news ever that “He was able to come home with us!” We were so stoked!

We are finally real parents in action!!!

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for all of you who spoiled us with delicious dinners, thoughtful calls and texts, such cute gifts and powerful prayers! Without a doubt we are blessed that we have Jett home and healthy! We are such proud parents and are happy that our family has officially begun!

Thanks to Brooke, a group of darn cute girls all got together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of lil Jett! We pigged out @ my fav place...CCF while I (and Jett) were spoiled with a ton of cute gifts including...onesies, burpcloths, a book, blankies, bath stuff, lil seat thingy, and the famous wee-wee tee-pees!!! I sooo can't wait to sport him in all the gifts! You gals honestly all are thee most craftiest creative ladies & mommas I know and I appreciate each and everyone of your friendships! Sooo a special thanks to Amy, Tara & Anisten, Mel, Kelley, Emmy, Krystal, Brooke, Katie, & Missy!!! I had a blast!

Valentine's Day was super special! We dined at Harvest at Thanksgiving Point
with Sarah & Brian! Totally funny cause Aaron and I got snowed
in there last Valentine's Day and haven't ate there since!
Due to luck and a cancellation reservation we got in...next year
I now know to book an open table weeks in advance! :-)
However it brought back memories and their steak and dessert was soooo yummy!

Before we took off to dine Aaron received a V-Day Love Platter from me!!!
It was filled with a ton of candy...especially jelly bellies and taffy (his fav!)

Then in July I was ever sooo blessed to get pregnant! I can't wait to be a mommie! :-) Fall came and we moved to Orem...we both enjoy being close in town to family and friends! In November we found out IT'S A BOY and we are so thrilled! I now daily feel his kicks and constant movements and therefore I am 100% sure I have a lil mini-A-Ross developing inside of me he will be full of personality and on-the-go just like his daddy! The countdown is getting shorter and we are super excited for our family to begin this March! Aaron has been super supportive and helps me out tremendously daily as my belly gets bigger and bigger!

Ok...it's been what? 9 months since I finally updated our page! You can say I've been somewhat of a slacker BUT it's a new year, right? So I better make it a goal to JUST DO IT! I thought I would start off by putting in a couple of our wedding photos from last spring to start it off!
We started our newlywed life traveling the whole summer for Aaron's work. We had a blast in Houston, Chicago and L.A.! He is the BESTEST husband ever and I love him so...he is seriously thee hardest worker I know and is truly dedicated with his job.

Yahoo! Our fun engagement pics for you to view! These were taken last March...and let's just say we knew we were meant for each other since day one! With only bout 3 1/2 months of dating for us two I was then asked the big ? in Moab, Utah! As you can see I said YES!!! and our big day was April 25, 2008 at the Mt. Timpanogos temple! It was such a beautiful special day for us! Then that evening we had a dinner at Market Street Grill (where Aaron and I had our very first date!) Time seems to fly by sooo fast but I have loved each and every day I get to spend with my Lover! He is truly my best friend and everything and anything I could ask for! We seem to have a ton in common and he is always there for me! I never thought I would find someone that would put up with all my weaknesses and that I could be with and talk to nonstop!
