Shelby's Doc Appt and her Loves

Shelby was a champ at her 2 yr old doc appt! She actually was excited to go to the doctor with momma...maybe cause it was just a mom & me outing or because she sees the hospital daily as we drive by! Whatever it may be I was glad she was happy to go!!! She passed her learning questionnaire with flying colors and is growing like a giant still and is one tall & skinny girl like a string bean!

HEIGHT: 100%ILE

WEIGHT: 68%ILE

We knew she would top the charts, strangers out n about always guess she is 3 (that was months before she was even 2) and her size 9 shoe blew me away! Then I was fully prepared with a ring pop cause being much more smarter this time around I knew she would dread her poke! However with a newly opened ring pop to suck on it did the trick well! 

She didn't even shed a tear just let out a small shriek and we were on our way! She was one brave girl! 

Now on to her all-time favs...

ACTIVITY-Shelby has an obsession with squirt bottles and rags! She walks around the house with one in each hand and will wipe and clean everywhere she goes!

After any question you ask instead of answering yes she says Please! At first I thought it would go away but its stuck and I think it's super cute!

TOYS: any baby doll, her play kitchen set, play-doh, and any art supply she can get her hands on...paint, markers, crayons, glitter glue, gluestick...you name it she wants it!

Shelby has just started to try to do a lot of things "all by herself!" She is growing up too quick and we love her to pieces!!!

Where do I begin??

We have done nothing but love our sweet yet sassy little girl in our lives! Our family was so excited to have a girl and for the past two years have loved every day we've shared with her! I am in love with the photos my brother Jeff captured of her being her little mischievous self! She sure brings a lot of joy to us and we love her sooo! First photos are at one of her favorite spots to go to...the park with the duck pond...

Next snapshots are at Grandma T's house where she LOVES to go to and play all day! 

Shelby is lucky to share her life with her big brother Jett...at times they fight like cats and dogs but most of the time I'm lucky and they are a great duo! The first pic cracks me up below...they look like an ol' grandpa and grandma together!!!

There is not a day that goes by that I think I don't know what I'd without these 2 kids in my life! They have both grown up so swiftly and I can't believe how big they are getting! Aaron and I love them to pieces and we are so grateful for our family of 4!

Aunt Tanya's Work Party at the Park

We had fun attending Aunt Tanya's work party at the park! Kids loved all the fun activities and yummy food they had there! Jett was a bit timid to go down the gigantic blow up slide...if only you saw his face while he zoomed down! 

All-time fav treat there was cotton candy...I think the kids consumed 2 or maybe 3 each! Their faces, tongue, and teeth were bright blue for the evening! 

And don't forget the ice cream cones as well! Ross' love their sweets!!

Kids saw amazing painted faces but chose to get a painted picture on their arm and hand instead! Of course Jett chose a race car and Shelby a flower!

Miss Shelby turns 2!!!

We had a Hello Kitty bash for Shelby on her official birthday the end of August this year! 

Family came to help her celebrate and we played guess how many jelly bellies in a jar, pin the bow on the kitty and a tossing ball game! It was a joy to have cousins attend, eat cocoa bean cupcakes, sherbet in cups, and sip fizzy drinks with straws! 







Shelby was spoiled with a plethora of gifts and was in awe with  all the help she had from her cousins to open up each and every gift! 





WE LOVE YOU SHELBY and can't believe you are now a toddler and 2! 

August in the air

August arrived before we knew it and back-to-school season was in the air! We got as many farmers markets in as we could, days at the splash pads, meet-the-teacher day, and camp-out at cousins house before it officially started! 

Jett has loved his teacher Miss Valerie sooo much! He is a champ and gets so excited to go! He was so happy to see some old classmates and meet the new ones too. He is learning so much it scares me!!! Jett can now read and writes his first and last name on his own! 

We are so proud of him! 

My Birthday!!!

We were stoked to have Tasha and the girls in town to welcome our arrival! 2 weeks of fun with them was just what the kids and I needed! End of July we celebrated my birthday! Miss Shelby also turned the sweet 23 months on the same day I turned 31 too, wahoo! Thanks to Aaron I was spoiled with a beautiful bouquet! 

We had a swim party with water balloons at Gramma T's house. We had pizza, salad bar and good ol' DQ dilly bars for dessert! Joppy & Coley surprised me with sweet tooth fairy cupcakes!

It was fun to see all the fam after 4 months of being away and celebrate my big day!
