Born to Boogie!

Anytime a tune comes on the kids love to boogie! Whether it’s in the car on the radio or Grandma T’s boombox they will both bust a move! Their dancing makes me crack up and will put a smile on anyones face. The Mom & Me dance class we took @ Riverwoods was a great way they could show off their stuff! Everytime the music turned off Shelby would yell, “Again, again!” Jett enjoyed being in the center of the circle and showing off his signature break-dancing moves. It was such a fun class with my two tiny dancers!

Their love for music comes from both sides of our families, I remember back in the day when I was a wee one my Grandpa Lakedon jamming on his guitar with his band, my Grandma Taylor playing on her organ (passed down to her from her mom) and my Grandpa Taylor “trying” to compose his own songs! My mom’s siblings all have such great musical talent as well. Then we all know Grandpa Ross is in a band now and he strums away on a variety of instruments or bangs on his drumset to entertain the kids all the time. Nana lets them play on her piano too which makes them get ever so creative and always enjoy some music time at their home!

I’m glad they enjoy music and dancing so much cause it sure is fun to have them around the home to “shake it” with. Also Aaron and I sing so loud and off-key we're grateful they don’t seem to care one bit and they love to join in!
