We stayed in Sioux Falls for a week and a half. We tried to pack in as many fun activities as possible before we moved again! Kids loved their kiddie pool with splash pad and wanted to go daily and stay super long each time!
The Sertoma Butterfly home/Aquarium was excellent! They had a gigantic rainforest setting where the butterflies would soar around freely and land on you if you were lucky! It was then there we realized Aaron had "butterfly-phobia"! It was hilarious to see him get so startled up and scared when they would fly not only near him but on him haha! Jett on the other hand was ever so brave and loved the insects flying on him! Shelby loved her new flying friends too! One of the most fun places we went to for sure!
Siox Falls Park was also another hot spot to go to in town. There was huge waterfalls and a bridge to go over to view them.
My mom's sister Aunt Kathy and Roger drove from Minnesota to come and visit! It was fun to see them (haven't in years) so for them to meet Aaron and the kids was near! We, dined, swam, went to Sioux Falls Park again, chatted, and then they took off the next morning! WE were ever so happy cause they left Gramma T with us! The kids were so happy to have a relative with us. We hadn't seen family since April so it was nice!!! Then we all loaded up and drove off to Colorado!
We had 5 fun-filled packed days in Colorado with Gramma T entertaining us while seeing the town! We were so thankful she came out and helped us pack up everything to head home!!!
