December…the most wonderful time of the year!
Our month was filled with lots of cheer...
Nothing is more magical than listening to Christmas
carols, (I start to in Nov!) seeing our home decorated all festive, attending
Jett’s
pre-school holiday party,
pre-school holiday party,
seeing Shelby scared on Santa’s lap,
while Jett on the other hand was fully prepared with his letter to him,
decorating gingerbread houses (while consuming bowlfuls of candy while doing
so) reading The Polar Express book over and over by the lights of our tree,
baking yummy Christmas goodies, being “Santa’s helper” and shopping for the
perfect presents for people on my list, going to our annual ward christmas party,
making snow cones with snow from the ground...who knows if that's edible?? oh well, kids had a blast,
having a great Christmas at home and then happily driving to Grandma T's to open gifts and eat a traditional brunch,
hanging out with Aaron’s family and siblings who traveled here
from across the states, going to lunch @ Communal to catch up with the
Burnsides from Cali, celebrating Grandma T's birthday belated and little Ezra (Shelby's future boyfriend!) turning 1,
and finally watching out our windows as the snowflakes pounded
down! Did I tell you how much I HATE (all in capitals!!!) the snow! Some may
love the white stuff but me on the other hand dread it…there is nothing worse
than being cold, driving in thee powder and being cooped up indoors! Craziness
I still live in Utah!! We’re sad our holidays came to a close but oh so happy that
our days of winter are coming to a end!
