New Year

2013...CRAZY! We started the new year off with Miss Shelby turning the "sweet 16" months! She has a sassy spirit for sure and no fear.  Perhaps because she thinks she is as big as her older brother at times.  I can't believe she will go into nursery ever so soon, and to think that Jett is a sunbeam...nuts!  He is getting to be such a big boy and continues to surprise me with his smartness.  He is full of care, a little OCD with lining up his toys, and a plethora of love.  If Shelby gets a "boo-boo" or a "bonk" he is the first to kiss it better! He is slowly learning how to share, he will happily go get a toy just so that he can "exchange" it with the one that Shelby has! Although I think she's caught on to his clever switcheroo act now! Jett is overly passionate about his "cars collection" and has more than I can even count.

 If cars aren't in front of him then he's building tracks and playing with trains.  At times he comes up with the wildest questions, I just pause in awe at his gigantic imagination and memory. He is a great helper, excellent eater and loves to cook with me in the kitchen.  He is a technology wizard and can navigate through websites and youtube already!  He appears to be a professional photographer, he will take my phone or the camera and take hundreds of photos...his favorite shots are of his cars or sneaking up on us and snapping them like he's from the paparazzi!

He is a great big brother, I often hear Jett say, "I want 5 babies, all brothers!"  Hmmm...for now he will have to put up with one girl sibling and she sure does adore him! Shelby is growing up so big before our very eyes, she never forgets to give huge hugs and blow cute kisses.  She can point to all her body parts.  She loves to sport a hat at all times yet HATES to have any clip, bow or headband on.  She is crazy bout necklaces and adores bracelets.

She would color all day and night and constantly has crayons in her hands. She loves pink cotton candy but thinks chocolate teddy grahams are the most disgusting thing on the planet.  She is a dancing queen and her current fav song is Gangham Style!  For playtime she prefers puzzles and when she sees Elmo she lights up from ear to ear! She is a piggie when it comes to food and is growing like a weed!  They both love bath time, marshmallows, and cruising down the big slide that Santa brought them! (gotta keep them active since we'll all sick of being cooped in from thee cold!) and we all are ready for SPRING!!!
