Turning the Big 4

Jett’s 4th birthday rolled in on a Sunday this year! Boy, did he have bad luck the days before.  He got a big black eye running into a chair @ Grandma T’s house! It was a shiner and he ended up having a gigantic bruise over his left eye! Luckily, we had taken his 4 year old photos previously! Then he also caught an awful flu and was out a couple of days so we postponed his party till the next week! :(

On his official birthday we celebrated it as a family of four! Of course it was all about food and fun. We woke up and had delicious doughnuts for breakfast. 

For lunch we had his all-time fav pepporoni pizza 

and for dinner his menu choice of barbecued fillet mignons by dad!

 I made an ice cream cake and Shelby and him decorated it with all the 
candy toppings they could imagine! 

I think the cake had about 10 lbs of candy on it when it was all done. He opened a few gifts and he loved us singing to him on his special day!

On Tuesday we brought candy robots and stickers to everyone in his class so Jett could party it up some more! 

Once Friday arrived we thought he would be beat but boy was he ready as ever to celebrate with family and friends! He chose none other than Riverwoods! We all dined at Malawais Pizza and I brought Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes for everyone 

along with the candy robots and favor bags filled with goodies and toys! 

Afterwards we lived it up at Provo Beach playing arcade games. Our favs were Deal or No Deal and watching Aaron wipeout his whole savings trying to win an ipad by cutting a micro-mini string that held up the grand prize! No luck! However Jett was filled with joy to have an awesome evening with everyone and we still can’t believe he is the big four!
