Father's Day!

For Father’s Day we went to celebrate it at the amazing Omaha Zoo and Aquarium! It was gigantic! It had every animal imaginable to be seen. There was a special event which just  happened to be race car tracks in the entrance of the zoo. 

Jett was so stoked he got to race cars with his dad! 

Shelby and I loved standing by the sidelines cheering them on! DinoLand was a fun stop filled with enormous dinosaur replicas that moved, roared and made the kids leap! 

Shelby was fascinated by the prairie dog hill they had with holes galore. 

Prairie dogs poked their heads eagerly out to be fed and loved it.

 The choo-choo train made the kids smile from ear to ear and once we boarded we enjoyed the ride around the whole zoo yard. 

They had  a huge dome with desertland within in it. 

There was wildlife roaming all throughout it which was exciting.

 The gorilla was mesmerizing, Jett was intrigued it would look right at him through the glass. 

He also thought the gorilla loved him cause it wanted his new toy he got from the souvenir shop! Shelby shrieked when she saw there was a Carousel ride and the kids rode on it full of glee. Such a fun zoo, no wonder its ranked in the top ten in the US!

Not a better way to end Father’s Day then dining at Cheesecake Factory! Our two kids are ever so lucky to have an entertaining silly yet serious dad. Jett & Shelby are blessed to have a perfect provider for them. We love you Dad and we were all so glad to celebrate Father’s Day this year with you in Nebraska!
