We were thankful for my brother Jeff capturing our family photos this year! He did an excellent job as always and snapped such cute shots of the kids! We were happy there was such nice weather near the end of October and love each and every photo!

OCTOBER
October brought cool crisp air and our new home broke ground!
It's been fun to see the building process from start to end with the kids!
My mom babysat the kids so Aaron and I could attend the end of year Vivint party in SLC! It was fun to see Imagine Dragons preform...one of my fav bands! It was a great evening together.
Conference weekend was nice. It was great to hear all the talks and be together as a family!
Fall Break arrived and we went to the pumpkin festival with the fam.
The highlight there was riding the ponies!
The next day we went on a ride in the razor up the canyon. The kids loved cruising around up in the mountains while I was yelling, "SLOW DOWN!!" to Aaron the whole time.
After surviving we went up to Heber to catch a ride on the famous Heber Creeper Spooky train. Kids had a blast and enjoyed chugging down the tracks and picking out their very own pumpkins at the end!

SEPTEMBER
Fall arrived, school back in session and a regular schedule began. Jett will now be finishing up his third and final year of pre-school! CRAZY! I look back when he began his first day there...Shelby was born just two weeks after...boy does time fly! He has been enjoying art, reading, writing, and science!
The month of September was full with several meetings for our future home being built. I never realized how many details were picked out in building. So many options to choose!
Lil' Miss Josie turned the big ONE on the 18th! It was fun to celebrate her big day with the fam! We still adore how her all-time-fav song is Selena G's "Come and Get It!"
We love to see her groove to that beat!
At the end of the month I got to go to Jett's school and do a getting-to-know you game with his class! The kids are adorable and it was so neat to meet them all and interact. One little girl even gave me a big hug at the end and Jett was a wee bit jealous! That may have added a few points on being a "cool mom!" haha!!!
The closing of the month we did nothing but organize and clean our home up! We had rented one for a year and them bought one the next. 4 years went by too fast there! Our home looked like a house after all the decor came down by simplifying the place! It was now ready to be SOLD!

SNAKES, SNAILS, AND PUPPY DOG TAILS!!!
Just what our little boy is made of...snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails! Jett is all boy for sure when it comes to outside stuff! Although he's teaching Shelby to be right by his side in the action of it all!
Jett LOVES snails!!! I don't know if it was inspired by the movie Turbo which he adores or what? Cause Dad HATES insects (they actually terrify him to death...sooo funny!) But the kids adore finding them and keeping them as their pets!
Jett will name each one, make them a home, and feed them all consistently! For now it makes for the perfect pet for our family!
It's been such an adventure to see Jett grow up so swiftly, expanding his creativity and being such an on-the-go boy! He surprises me with all the curious questions he asks and memories that he seems to remember from way long ago!
We bought the movie Turbo and Jett repeatedly watches it! With his passion for the snails added with the racing cars it sure fits him well! If you ask Jett what he wants to be when he grows up he says a "RACECAR DRIVER"!! As his momma that would fear me so...I see him get behind his bike and drive like a madman and it scares me to death!
Many of our fall days were spent outside exploring! Jett was beyond excited when Grandma T and him found a dead ol' snake on a walk! Grossest thing ever, yet he would carry it in the box below everywhere he went! (He even insisted he had to bring it school with him for show-n-tell! YIKES!) I let him bring him around for a day then we had to have a funeral for him when I explained to Jett what maggots were!
Perhaps it may have came to be because of Grandma T's pet tarantula Lynnette that she has had for years. Jett enjoys feeding it crickets and watching it crawl around...CREEPY! WE LOVE JETT and all his passion for anything that crawls or slithers!

Down at the Farm
Aaron finished another summer selling!!! Loud WAHOO!! When he came home we have done nothing but fun family times and outings together! We ventured to Thanksgiving Point where the kids loved going to the Petting Zoo Farm!
Kids loved all the animals, especially the pony ride! The highlight was when Shelby jumped off her "boy"pony it tinkled all over! They were laughing nonstop! They also enjoyed riding the carriage that the horses pull around the park and of course we had to dine at the restaurant too! Couldn't have asked for better weather and we sure enjoyed our day there!
